She said yes! Owensboro Proposal

This Owensboro proposal stole my heart.

Joseph told Maddie they were going to Sunday brunch, which turned into a walk by the river at Smother’s Park. Minutes later, he was on one knee. She was so surprised and it was a joy to capture her reaction.

Immediately following the popping of the question, we did a quick photo session around the area just so they can remember the excitement of the day.

The setup for this Owensboro proposal was done by the incredible Alpha-Lit Western Kentucky. I am so obsessed with these giant marquee letters!

I will never get tired of photographing proposals. And yes, I will totally hide in the bushes to capture the surprise if I have to!

Planning an Owensboro proposal?

There are some great reasons to hire a photographer for your proposal!

First, the memories (duh). When your special someone asks you to spend forever together – it’s natural to have a mix of emotions. It’s a LOT. Every little detail can become so blurry. I swear, I feel like I blacked out when my husband proposed. When you hire a proposal photographer, you can trust that the magic of your moment will be captured so you can treasure the images forever.

Second, the photos are a great way to announce your engagement on social media.  You can also use them on engagement party invitations and share them for different occasions. Basically, they’re worth it for all the milage you’ll get out of them.

Last, it’s a great way to get comfortable being photographed. The next few months of your life is likely going to be highly photographed. From bridal shower photos to your engagement session and weddings – it’s nice to get in some practice so you feel more comfortable. And, your photographer can give your tips to look your best in all your shots!

ABOUT JACQUELINE JORDAN PHOTOGRAPHY:

I’ve been shooting portraits and weddings since way back in 2009, and my love for photographing awesome people just keeps growing.  I’m based in the Kentucky Bluegrass, but always up for adventure.

My number one goal is to get you beautiful photos. My number two goal is to make sure you have a good time! I strongly believe that your photos are better with REAL smiles!  My portrait sessions are light-hearted and low pressure, and on wedding days I’ll be there to capture every moment so you can relive your perfect day for years to come. If you’re into popping champagne or tossing confetti – we can be friends.

I love all things Kate Spade, dance parties in the kitchen and every puppy I’ve ever met. There’s almost always confetti in my purse.
