It may have been a windy, gray day in Owensboro, Kentucky but Maria and Kensi were anything but dull! These two beauties were so sweet and almost one-year-old Kensi had to wave at every person and car that went by during our session. Y’all – she’s adorable.

Check out her little necklace bling! She’s a girl after my own heart. Mom Maria and I go way back to high school, so this session was a fun reunion for us. It’s always great to connect with people I haven’t seen in ages, catch up on life and family and just love on them for a little bit.

We shot these at Yellow Creek Park on the eastside of Owensboro, which is one of my favorite locations. Ignore all the playground equipment and structures and you have beautiful fields to shoot in. Thankfully, Maria was brave enough to go into the weeds for me. You wouldn’t think an overgrown field would be so pretty, but they always look so dreamy.
